It applies to all hiring within Florida, covering permanent, temporary, contract, and seasonal positions.

5. Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)

In accordance with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), eligible employees may take up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave in a 12-month period for qualifying medical, family, or military-related reasons. These include personal or family illness, childbirth, or caregiving responsibilities.

The hiring process at RapidPolk Dumpster Rental follows these key stages:

  2. Application and Screening
    Applicants submit resumes and relevant materials. The HR team conducts initial screenings to ensure baseline qualifications.
  3. Interview Process
    Qualified candidates are invited to interviews; typically by phone or in person; depending on the role and location.
  4. Selection and Offer
    After evaluations, top candidates receive a written offer detailing role expectations, compensation, and start date.
  5. Background Checks and Drug Screening
    As required under federal, Florida, and local laws, final candidates may undergo background checks and drug screening.
  6. Onboarding and Documentation
    Once hired, new employees complete all necessary documentation and participate in onboarding to ensure a smooth transition into the role.

Some roles may be eligible for remote or hybrid work arrangements based on operational needs and location. All job postings will indicate remote eligibility when applicable.

7. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Human Resources Team
    Oversees recruitment procedures, ensures policy compliance, manages candidate communication, and maintains hiring records.
  • Hiring Managers
    Define job needs, participate in interviews, evaluate candidate fit, and make final hiring decisions in collaboration with HR.
  • Third-Party Vendors
    May assist with advertising roles, conducting background checks, or sourcing candidates. These partners must meet our legal, ethical, and privacy standards.

8. Compliance & Recordkeeping

RapidPolk Dumpster Rental complies with all relevant employment laws at the state and federal levels, including those governed by the EEOC, DOL, and the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity.

We retain I-9 forms, interview records, and hiring documentation in accordance with legal retention schedules.

Privacy & Data Protection
We handle all applicant data with care and respect. Personal information is collected solely for employment consideration and compliance purposes and is protected under applicable privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) where applicable. We do not sell applicant data and we limit data use to legitimate hiring and legal requirements.

9. Policy Ownership & Review

The Operations Manager at RapidPolk Dumpster Rental is responsible for maintaining and updating this hiring policy. The policy is reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in federal or Florida employment law.

In some cases, open positions may be fulfilled through independent contractors or third-party partners who meet our compliance standards. This does not affect the fairness or legitimacy of the application process.

This hiring policy was created and is maintained by the Operations Manager at RapidPolk Dumpster Rental. The Operations Manager oversees recruitment compliance and policy enforcement.
